Many brilliant Australian creations made their debut on ABC TV's 'The New Inventors' — from the Sarich orbital engine and electronic ignition system to the Swirlon rotary brush and solar energy tracker. The solar water panel is another worthy contender for being one of those rare products that change people's lives for the better.
The judges were impressed by its remarkable efficiency and easy upkeep, but what inspired them most was its value as a tool to help build a more sustainable future. By unanimous decision, the SunSure Solar Water Purifier was nominated for the show’s Invention of the Year.
