At Sun Sure Water we are continually assessing and reassessing the materials used to manufacture the Solar Water Purifier.
Conditions presented to us by our client base for the use of the purifier are many and varied and range in extremes of temperature, UV exposure, source water bearing a vast range of chemicals with ph ranges of 2 to 12.
Those who know a little about plastic materials will appreciate that the conditions to which the Solar Water Purifier can be exposed too are extremely harsh therefore the materials used in construction must be of the highest specification and quality and a great deal of research has been conducted in this area.
Sun Sure Water has a number of Solar Water Purifiers under constant test and observation in many locations assessing material performance under various conditions.
Results of this testing provide vital information for the future development of the Solar Water Purifier.
As with most technologies plastic materials are constantly developing to produce ranges of materials with improved and varied performance characteristics. Our aim at Sun Sure Water is to continually improve the quality and specification of materials utilised to provide an extended product life in all conditions whilst keeping the product at an affordable price.
The glass front is a "white glass" used to enhance the UV germ killing properties and internally we have reflective materials to enhance infra red properties. Whilst our plumbing plastics all contain a UV stabliser.
